IRON RIVER—Lakeland Baptist Church will once again bring the story of Christmas to life during a live Nativity on Dec. 14 and 15.
Members of Lakeland Baptist Church invite you to step back in time, to that first Christmas night, where you will experience the true meaning of Christmas. The live Nativity, which is held outdoors in the parking lot, will feature a cast of costumed characters and live animals, including donkeys, sheep, chickens and a baby calf.
“This year, we have expanded Bethlehem Boulevard to include a census both, the inn and stable, a basket shop and the town bakery, which will be serving fresh ‘Bethlehem Baby Cakes’ along with hot cider, coffee and cocoa.”
This year will mark the third straight holiday season for the church to feature the live Nativity. The pre-recorded story is replayed every 15 minutes throughout the evening, from 5 to 8 p.m. each night.
Lakeland Baptist is located at 950 Lalley Road in Iron River. This event is free of charge.
