IRON RIVER—Northwoods Animal Shelter will be holding a bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 11 at CoVantage Credit Union. There will be delicious baked goods, such as pies, breads, bars and cookies. There will also be two beautiful raffle baskets and Sayklly’s Easter eggs.

ALPHA—There was a specific time when, as Judi Tuell says, the “madness” began.
Tuell and her husband, Alan, had retired in 2004, moved to Iron County from Chicago and began to build a house on a piece of property they’d purchased a mile south of Crystal Falls.

IRON RIVER—Three spring-time events will coincide on Saturday, April 12 in the Iron River area. They are the Iron County Chamber of Commerce Home, Business and Outdoor Expo; the Windsor Center Spring Craft and Garden Show; and the Family Fun Fair at Stambaugh Elementary School.
