MANSFIELD—The Mansfield Memories Committee will be sponsoring its annual summer service at the Mansfield Pioneer Church on Thursday, July 26, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
“The old pump organ will again accompany many of your favorite hymns and gospel songs,” said a spokesperson.
“Everyone is invited to join in the singing. Doris Kewley of Amasa will be the speaker at Thursday’s service.”

The Mansfield Memories Committee extends an open invitation to anyone wishing to attend the service and hopes they will stay and enjoy lunch and fellowship afterwards.
No admission fee is ever charged at the church; however, a free will offering will be taken to help defray expenses.
Each year, hundreds of people visit the unique church and express their appreciation of the efforts of those who helped in the reconstruction of the only church Mansfield has known in its 121-year history.
Directions to the Mansfield’s historical district and this special log church are as follows:
From M-69 (about four miles east of Crystal Falls or about six miles west of Sagola), turn north on the Mansfield Cut-Off Road.
Travel until you reach a fork in the road and turn left onto Stream Road.
Another one-half mile and you will be at the church site.  If more information is needed, call 875-3553 or 875-3706.
