IRON RIVER - Sept. 28 was our last day of Flag Football. We had 45 kids this year divided into four teams.Two games are played each Thursday in a round robin format. This concluded our 10th year with this program.
Team Karter Erickson defeated Team Levi Stapleton for the Super Bowl with a final play touchdown for a score of 28-21. The third and fourth place teams were Team Jason Cheney/Levi Roberts and Team Colt Polich/Mason Marheine.
Players are in grades second, third and fourth.
The first Thursday, we have a draft and divide the kids up into four teams. Fifth and sixth graders are quarterbacks for their teams. Shout out to Karter Erickson, Levi Stapleton, Jason Cheney, Mason Marheine, Greyson Gurchinoff and Riley Cronkright who all play on the Youth Football team and have acted as quarterbacks on various Thursdays.
