Everett Angeli

IRON RIVER — Everett John “Evy” Angeli was called to be with his Lord Feb. 21, 2024, at the age of 69. A visitation will be held on March 5 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Fosu to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in the Iron River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Upper Peninsula Catholic Services Appeal (UPSCA) in Evy’s honor. May he rest in peace.

IRON RIVER — James W. Harris, 77, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River.  Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Fosu to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the church. Interment will be at the Resthaven Cemetery. Diane Sablich

BRILLION, Wis. — Diane M. Sablich, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday morning, Feb. 24, 2024. Funeral Mass was held March 2 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial were Rev. Tom Pomeroy and Deacon Greg Van Thiel. Cremation took place following the Funeral Mass, and burial of her cremated remains will be laid to rest at Stambaugh Cemetery, Iron River at a later date. Thomas Timbrook

IRON RIVER — Thomas Cole Timbrook (Tommy), 65, passed away surrounded by his family Feb. 18, 2024 in Rhinelander Hospital of an aggressive cancer. There will be a Celebration of Life service for Thomas Cole Timbrook in July, where all friends, family and anyone who knew him are invited to honor his life and share memories and wonderful times had with Tommy. Date to be announced. His ashes will be released and his heart is with Jesus.
