Clarice Arnell

IRON RIVER — Clarice Ann (Woods) Arnell, born March 21, 1933 in the Spring at her family home in New Caspian, is now free of her earthly pain. Services and the interment of her ashes will take place in the Iron River area in mid-June.

GAASTRA — Betty Bal, 94, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Funeral Service were held March 18 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian with Rev. Donald Colombino

AMASA — Donald L. Colombino, 98, passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2024, at Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. A graveside service will be held at a later date. CRYSTAL FALLS — James R. Kurtz, 81, passed away on March 4, 2024, at Aspirus Hospital in Iron River. IRON RIVER — Robert “Bob” Wallace Rivera, visual artist, poet, and activist, died on Sunday, March 3 at the age of 79. Throughout his life Robert used his art, his writing, and his voice in the service of oppressed people, our green spaces, and our threatened planet.

IRON RIVER — Clarence Bruce Wagner, 80, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. A graveside service will be held later in the spring at Resthaven Cemetery. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the cemetery.
