CRYSTAL FALLS - The Crystal Christmas Craft Show, held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 506 Superior Ave., is an annual event that is popular because of the local artists who sell their unique handmade items at the show. This is the show’s 14th year and artists and vendors of all genres, styles and varieties offer a one-stop shopping extravaganza. This show is a smaller show which lets artists and vendors display their wares without giving shoppers “sensory overload” as some of the huge shows can.

Over the past few years the show has been held at a variety of venues, but this years show organizer Alisa Nelson is happy to report that the show will once again be held in the lower level of the United Lutheran Church at the junction of Highways US 2 and M69. The location and big parking lot is a big plus for the craft show.
A few of the items being sold at the show will be pottery, jewelry, photography, items made from Lake Superior rocks, crochet stuffies, wood yard games, children’s books, Harbour House Museum gift store items and much more.
The CF Harbour House Museum will also be at the show having a lunch fundraiser to help pay for the new roof that was put on the museum.
The Crystal Christmas Craft Show is part of the city-wide Crystal Christmas event organized by the Crystal Falls Business Association. A variety of events will be happening throughout the day to offer a day full of small-town holiday charm.
