The West Iron County Huddle of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes presented its Ryan Meyer Competitor Awards during the post-season basketball banquet held recently. From left: Meyer, Cassilyn Pellizzer, Adam Newby and Aren Newby.
IRON RIVER—The West Iron County Huddle of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes presented its annual competitor awards during the recent post-season basketball banquet.
The organization presented its Ryan Meyer Competitor Award to three Wykon seniors: Cassilyn Pellizzer on the girls team and Adam and Aren Newby on the boys team.

Ice Hawks Pee Wees win second state title

The Ice Hawks brought home the Michigan Athletic Hockey Association Pee Wee B state title by defeating St. Ignace 8-1 in the state finals on March 23 in Midland.
