CRYSTAL FALLS—Crystal Theatre has announced its summer schedule, which will begin May 31.
The historic venue will again host a variety of live musical entertainment, beginning with Four Guyz in Dinner Jackets on the final day of May.
Back by popular demand, this energetic quartet from the Milwaukee area charms its audience with its theatrical renditions of doo-wop and early rock ‘n’ roll favorites.
Hailing from the Chicago area, the Ron Smolen Orchestra takes the stage June 14. This 11-piece dance orchestra, featuring vocalist Sally Kokos, plays favorites reminiscent of New Year’s Eve.
On June 28, renowned theater organist Jim Riggs takes a seat at the theatre’s “Mighty Moller” pipe organ.
July features two soloists --concert pianist Frederick Moyer on July 12, and jazz singer Ellen Winters on July 27.
On Aug. 9, the New South Rampart Street Paraders bring the sound of old-fashioned Dixieland Bands to the streets of Crystal Falls.
On Aug. 31, the 10-member band Hip Pocket Rocks promises to rock the premises with a blazing horn section.
On Sept. 14, Dick Kroekel on piano and Dave Wickerham on organ team up again for a “Red, White and Blue American Music Tribute.”
The season ends on a folk-music note Sept. 27 with Red Tail Ring and Mark Dvorak sharing the stage.

Advanced tickets for individual events may be purchased for $17 the week prior to each performance and for $20 at the door. Youth admission is $5 at the door.
