CASPIAN—The Lee LeBlanc Chapter of the Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at the Iron County Museum.
Graduate students from MSU will report on their ongoing project to study the effects of predators, weather, and habitat on the survival of white-tailed deer fawns in the Upper Peninsula. They have been at work in north-eastern Iron County for the past two years.
Everyone who is interested in our deer population is welcome to attend.
“These MSU students are from Mississippi State University so both Spartan and Wolverine fans can attend without prejudice,” said Audubon spokesperson.
