ESCANABA—Les Johnson of Predator Quest will be on hand to lend his expertise on predator calling and hunting at the 51st annual U.P. Trappers Outdoor Expo in Escanaba, on July 12-13 at the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
Johnson hails from Nebraska where once, when asked what his goal in life was, he replied, “I want to be one of the best coyote callers in the world.”
In 1999, he won the Triple Crown of coyote calling winning the Midwest, National and World Championships.  His résumé includes being ranked in the top five, in 30+ calling competitions in the past 15 years.  Along with this, the Sportsman’s Channel has awarded him with numerous awards for his television show, Predator Quest. It is the first ever television series strictly dedicated to predator calling/hunting.
At the expo, he will share his techniques, methods and tips on set-up, wind direction calls and more.  He will be available to talk with and answer questions throughout the convention.
