The summer staff at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp recently completed 10 days of training to prepare for campers this summer. The college-age staff come from near and far—as far away as California and Malaysia—and learned about safety, CPR and waterfront instruction, cooking over a campfire, unique games and practiced a lot of camp songs. Pastor Tracy Polzin, camp director, said the first campers arrive this week and will learn ways “to connect our faith to all we do.” This year’s theme is “Faith Alive.” For more information, phone 875-3697 or go to (submitted photo)
