Chalk up one more hurdles win for Audrey Sholander, who is on her way in the 100 highs at North Dickinson, over the Nordics’ Heather Roell. Trojan teammate Georgie Dohl finished fourth.

CRYSTAL FALLS—In their final tune-up before the Skyline Conference tournament, Forest Park’s boys and girls track teams both finished second during a four-team meet held at North Dickinson May 22.
 The meet, let’s face it, was more relaxed than most. Many students didn’t run in their normal events, opting to try out others instead. For example, the girls sprint relay team ran the two-mile relay, and vice versa.


 The meet took place days before the Skyline Conference tournament, held at North Dickinson on May 25—after this issue’s early deadline.
 North Dickinson ran away with the girls team title, earning 116 points to Forest Park’s 56. Carney-Nadeau took third with 42.
 Winning their events were Audrey Sholander in the 100 high hurdles, Shaina Bortolini in the 1600, Casey Ponchaud in the 3200. Gina Graff in discus and the 3200 relay team.

 Relays: 3200 relay: 1. FP (A.Sholander, Sierra Sholander, Ana Cornelia, Mary Grandahl), 12:08.01. 800 relay: 2. FP (A.Sholander, S.Sholander, Cornelia, Grandahl), 1:56.10. 400 relay: 3. FP (Maria DeMuri, Ponchaud, Kelsi Hendrickson, Isaacson), 1:00.29.
 Field events: Pole vault: 2. Bortolini, 6-6; 3. Cornelia, 6-6. High jump: 5. Dohl. Discus: 1. Gina Graff, 101-11.5; 5. DeMuri. Shot put: 2. Grandahl, 25-11.
 The boys team finished with 80 points and finished second to the host Nordics, who rolled up 117 points. Republic-Michigamme claimed third with 29.
 Forest Park’s first places came from its elite corps or runners: Mark Hallmann in the 1600, Alex Takala in the 400, Jake Divine in the 800, Derek Aberly in the 200 and the 800 and 3200 relay teams.

 • After the Skyline Conference meet May 25, all that remains on the schedule is a JV meet at Norway on May 29 and the U.P. Finals this Saturday, June 2, at Kingsford.
