The Wykons’ Jaclyn Waara battles Niagara’s Jenna Carlton in the 800-meter run during the recent Niagara Invitational. WIC’s meet at Kingsford May 8 was rained out.

IRON RIVER—West Iron didn’t have back-to-back track meets early last week, after all. Raindrops forced cancellation of a May 8 meet at Kingsford.
But on May 7, the Wykon girls earned another team title, winning the Kramer Invitational at Ironwood.

The meet will decide who qualifies for the Division 2 U.P. Finals, being held at Kingsford on June 2. The other D2 regional is in Stephenson.
