Armed with mops, brooms, pails, dust rags and an assortment of cleaning materials, this hardy band of day laborers, including board members, volunteers, friends and West Iron Key Club members, gathered in force for spring cleaning at the Iron County Museum in Caspian on Saturday, April 21, under the direction of Board Member Jeanne Bonetti and enjoyed a tasty lunch donated by Jim and Dallas Duda of Zippidy Duda’s in Iron River. The group was assigned to various posts throughout the museum grounds to clean up, spruce up and polish up rooms and buildings, as the museum gets ready for its annual school visits in May and its grand opening on Sunday, June 9, with a rededication of the Stager Depot.
