IRON RIVER—The Iron County Horse Committee has scheduled a horsemanship clinic for Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3, at the Iron County Fairgrounds here at the upper horse arena. Times are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The clinic will be directed by Doreen Passuello, 4-H judge, trainer and clinician.
The clinic is open to all youth or adults interested in improving their horsemanship skills. 4-H membership is not required. Clinic subjects will be determined based on the interests and skill levels of registrants. Pre-registration with payment is required with early sign up by May 1. Cost per participants is $35. After May 1, cost per participant is $40. Registration deadline is May 20. The clinic is limited to 35 participants. A copy of the negative Coggins test is required.
