IRON MOUNTAIN—Brian Roell, MDNR wildlife biologist, will discuss the Michigan moose population Wednesday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. in Fornetti Hall at Bay College West. Roell will walk the audience through a year in the life of a moose. He will discuss a description of general moose biology including: body size, reproduction, food habits, as well as other characteristics. A history of moose in Michigan including: translocation, past research, and the future of moose in Michigan will conclude the presentation. Light refreshments will be provided.
