IRON RIVER—This year’s 14th annual Iron County Parenting Fair will be held Thursday, March 22, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the West Iron District Library here.
This year’s activity theme is “Get Active, Get Involved!”
“Learn about the different programs our community has to offer for children and enjoy a teddy bear clinic with Dr. Darling, pediatrician, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.,” said a spokesperson.

“Bring your special stuffed animal for a check-up.  Also this year, girls, get your nails painted by Missy Dallavalle from Chris’s Hair Studio. While you’re there, you can sign your child up for soccer and also learn about car seat safety from the Iron County Sheriff’s Department.”
There will be hands-on activities for both children and adults along with drawings for prizes such as a Toddler Board book/puzzle set, Lalapoopsy basket, 100 Cupboards Book set, Lego basket, The Hunger Games book set and Cooking for the Whole Family.
Snacks and light dinner will be provided at 4:30 p.m. free of charge for everyone in attendance.
“Join the activities and fun throughout the entire event by local agencies on hand. There will be something for everyone to enjoy,” said the spokesperson.
“The atmosphere will be fun and festive, providing a relaxed setting for families of all sizes to enjoy time together.  So mark your calendars and come on out to the West Iron District Library for the 14th annual Iron County Parenting Fair.”
