CRYSTAL FALLS—The next few weeks have suddenly gotten more complicated for Forest Park JV girls Coach Jackie Giuliani.
Fate took a turn Dec. 20 during the JVs’ 35-31 win over Florence, when Sierra Robarge injured a wrist. The extent of the injury is not known, but Robarge was FP’s top scorer in their last three games—which were all wins.

Despite Robarge exiting early, the Trojans led 18-7 at halftime and held off a 14-7 Bobcat rally in the fourth quarter for the win. Robarge led the Lady Trojans with eight points. Kelsi Hendrickson scored six, and Jessica Bawyn and Sierra Sholander scored five each.
The three-game win streak started Dec. 14 with a 56-30 win at home against Mid Peninsula. FP built up a 26-9 halftime lead and didn’t let up in the second half.
Robarge led with 16 points (eight points in both the first and third quarters). Three girls—Bawyn, Rachel Roose and Beca McCole—scored eight points each, and Mary Grandahl scored six.
On Dec. 16, Forest Park took command with a 13-2 second quarter on its way to a 41-21 win at Watersmeet. Robarge led the second quarter attack with nine of her game-high 12 points. No other Trojan scored five or more.
