West Pac football team loaded with Wykons

IRON RIVER — The West Pac Conference Iron Division all-conference teams were recently announced, and West Iron County placed several players on each.
Highlighting the list are senior lineman Nate Lundin, who was picked as the league’s offensive player of the year and senior back Nathan Thomson, who was selected at the special teams player of the year.
Lundin was also picked to the first-team defensive unit, along with senior Gage Larson (linebacker), senior Colton Marcell (defensive end), senior Nolan Anderson (defensive back) and senior Andy Fredrickson (kicker).
Thomson was also selected to the first-team offensive squad, along with Harrison Hogenmiller (center), Sebastian Saaranen (guard) and Bink Cline (end).
Seniors Logan Horton (end) and Drew Hebert (defensive back) were given honorable mention.
The division’s defensive player of the year was Tyler Racicot of Bark River-Harris and the defensive lineman of the year was Dom Ortega, of Bark River-Harris.
    Coach of the year was posthumously given to the late Dion Brown of Gwinn.
