Ragio, Grabowski win for Trojans

CRYSTAL FALLS—Forest Park’s Bill Ragio and Jenna Grabowski both won individual events during a seven-team track meet held at North Dickinson on April 28.
    Ragio won the boys pole vault competition, clearing 11 feet, 6 inches on his winning vault.
    Grabowski’s win came in the girls 100-meter high hurdles, which she finished in 18.8 seconds.
    No other individual results from the North Dickinson meet were available. It was Forest Park’s only competition last week.
    North Dickinson won the girls meet with 124.5 points. Bark River-Harris was second with 110, and Northern Storm (the Florence-Niagara co-op team) placed third with 86. Forest Park wound up with 64 points and claimed fifth place.
    In the boys team standings, Northern Storm finished first with 127 points, five points ahead of Bark River (122). North Dickinson (97) was third. Forest Park finished fifth with 37 points.
    ● After taking part in the Norway Invitational on May 4, the Trojans travel to the Rapid River Invitational on May 7.
    The team competes at the Kingsford Invitational May 12, the final tuneup before the Division 3 regional tournament May 15 at Stephenson.
