Logan’s 18 leads FP JV girls past Wykons

CRYSTAL FALLS—Hanna Logan powered Forest Park’s girls in a 56-28 win over West Iron County here Jan. 9.
    Logan was the game’s high scorer with 18 points, including seven in both the second and third quarters. She also connected on a pair of 3-pointers.
    The Lady Trojans led West Iron 14-7 after the first quarter and expanded the lead to 27-12 at halftime. FP led 44-22 after three.
    Logan’s 18 led Forest Park, and Nola McDowell added eight. They were backed up by Hannah Cross and Jenna Grabowski, with six points each, and Megan Aberly with five.
    Ally Schive was West Iron’s high scorer. She scored eight points and made a pair of 3-pointers. Natalie Tomasoski and Rachael Tefft both had four points, and three girls each scored three for the Wykons.
