CASPIAN – The Iron County Ice Arena provides a perfect place for skating and hockey enthusiasts to take to the ice, spend time with friends and learn to skate.

The arena, located at 100 Museum Drive in Caspian, offers open skating sessions for all ages and several levels of hockey for interested players. You must have a signed waiver on file, or bring one with you, you can find a liability waver on the Iron Amateur Hockey Association website.

Open skating is held every Friday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. unless posted otherwise. The cost is $5 per skater. A full concession stand is available with favorites like candy, popcorn, pretzels with cheese and of course hot chocolate.
Skate rentals are not available at the ice rink, so skaters will need to bring their own pair or borrow from a friend.

Check out the Iron Amateur Hockey Association’s Facebook page for open skating updates, hockey events, tournaments and information on joining the Ice Hawks.
