CRYSTAL FALLS – After only their third loss of the season, the Trojans of Forest Park rebounded by winning back to back games on Feb. 16 and 19. With two games remaining in the regular season, the Trojan record stands at 17–3 and the team is ranked in the top 10 in Division Four.

On Feb. 16 the Trojans defeated the Bark River Harris Broncos (4–16) by a score of 79–48. While the outcome was never in question, the game started more slowly than expected with Forest Park only holding a 17–13 lead after the first quarter and extending the lead to 35–26 at the half. It wasn’t until the third quarter that the offense came alive and the Trojans put up 32 points in eight minutes that the game was officially out of reach.

In an impressive offensive display, freshman Vic Giuliani led the team with 22 points, making all 11 of his shots from the field. Every Trojan contributed to the win with Matthew Showers chipping in 13 and Gabe Quevedo an even dozen.
Following the win, the Trojans traveled to Wisconsin to take on the Florence Bobcats on Feb. 19. The Bobcats (13–11) were anticipated to be a more competitive opponent and lived up to the billing. Although the game was decided by a margin of 66–52, the score was even at halftime and was not decided until later in the second half.

The Giuliani brothers, Kevin and Vic, combined for 18 and 11 points respectively, while three-point ace Gaven Rintala sank five of 11 from beyond the arc for 15 points.
