CRYSTAL FALLS — The seventh annual Forest Park golf scramble was held June 13 at the Crystal View Golf Course.
Twenty-three teams participated, the most ever for the event.
Taking top honors in the Mixed Division were Dobie Anderson, Charlie and Janie Bandaccari, and Al Anderson with a score of 5 under par.
In the Male Division, the team of Bryan LaChapelle Jr., Kurt Lehman, Phil Milbrath, and Pat Flood came out on top shooting 16 under par.
“It was a beautiful day for golf and a great time was had by all,” said Kurt Anderson. “The day was about having fun and finally feeling like we’re on our way back toward some normal activities. Along with that, we raised a significant amount of money. Much of that was due to the fact that so many people donated back their 50/50 money, skin money, and tournament winnings.
“Forest Park is very appreciative for this generosity. The funds this year will be used to support both the Clark Schwedler Memorial Weight Room along with the physical education program at school.”
