Bowl-ing in the snow on Christmas Eve
Snow-adorned Nelson Field provided a perfect setting for the 38th consecutive edition of the Christmas Eve Bowl. More than 20 local gridiron warriors braved the elements to partake in the annual rite of winter, including the game’s first-ever 60-year old, Tony Cristan (far right in red-and-black coat). A good time was had by all, except for maybe the two players who suffered injury. One player received a broken nose and another suffered a concussion during the game.
