Northern Saddle Club holding raffle
FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northern Saddle Club is holding a gun raffle and other raffle prizes to raise funds for the “Fresh Water Project” and other club goals for improving the Halls Creek equestrian-friendly campground, trailhead, and boat landing in Homestead on Florence County land.
The Halls Creek Trails are open to hunters, hikers, and other silent sport enthusiasts.
First price in the raffle will be a Tikka T3x Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor Walnut Stock rifle (on display at Whisler Outdoors in Florence). Second prize will be a copper welcome sign and third prize will be a Florence County “Someplace Special” package.
The Someplace Special package is a Coleman cooler filled with gift certificates from local businesses, local artisans’ gifts and donated goods.
Raffle ticket costs are one for $10 or three for $25 (must be 18 years old). Tickets can be purchased at: Whisler Outdoors (628 Central Avenue, Florence), Dina Mia of Florence Supper Club (508 Central Ave, Florence), Mine Shaft Bar & Grill (4080 Hwy 2, Florence), Chuck Wagon (760 U.S. 2, Spread Eagle), Roadhouse 139 (3322 Hwy. 139, Long Lake), Christmas in Florence, Dec. 7 at Florence County Schools, and by club members selling throughout the community.
