To date, Glacial Gardeners have awarded almost $30,000 in scholarships. Glacial Gardeners are a Wisconsin Master Gardener Volunteer Association and work in conjunction with UW-Extension to extend university-based research on horticulture to the general public. They are involved in many projects in local communities and with schools. It is through the plant sales that are held the last Saturday in May that the money is raised to fund these scholarships and other projects. If there are any questions, they can be sent to glacial.gardeners@gmail.com.
