Borske’s big buck

Mike Borske of Iron River got his big 11-point buck on the final day of the Michigan Firearm Deer Season on Nov. 30. He had been seeing this deer on his game camera, but it had always came in too late in the evening. This time it came in about a half-hour before dark and he took the shot at 130 yards with only a head shot presented. “It was a good thing he dropped right there because without snow it would’ve been harder to track,” said Borske. When asked where in Iron County he harvested his buck, he said (with a chuckle), “north of U.S. 2.”  (submitted photo)
