Beechwood to host garden plant sale

BEECHWOOD—The Beechwood Historical Society will hold its annual plant sale on May 25-26 at the Beechwood Hall. The original dates have been rescheduled due to weather and growing conditions. The sale will take place on Friday, May 25 from noon to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, May 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Plants that will be available for this fundraiser are tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, pickling and slicing cucumbers, butternut, acorn, zucchini and yellow crooked neck squash, pumpkins and sunflowers.
    The Beechwood Hall is located 7 1/2 miles west of Iron River at 178 Beechwood Store Rd., north of U.S. 2.
