CRYSTAL FALLS - The Iron Baraga Conservation District (IBCD) is hosting a fruit tree pruning on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. We will meet at the Iron County Court.
IBCD welcomes Scott Reuss, Marinette and Oconto County Horticulture and Agriculture Agent in hosting this workshop.
Participants are asked to pre-register. Lunch is included at the workshop. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Do you have old fruit trees on your land? Did you recently buy fruit trees from the IBCD tree sale? Sign up for our fruit tree pruning workshop and learn how to take proper care of them. Attendees will learn proper techniques and become familiar with pruning tools.
Proper pruning is used to encourage health and productivity on both young and older trees. Please bring your pruning tools and gloves if possible.
