IRON RIVER—West Iron County Building Trades students, along with instructor Jeff Swenski, invite the public to an open house to view the home they built from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 18.
The home, located at 986 Baumgartner Road, is a 2,000-square foot exposed ranch with a full finished basement and a three-car attached garage with bonus room above. Total living space is approximately 4,000 square feet and includes three bedrooms, an office, 2 1/2 baths and a finished basement.
The home also includes large rooms, custom cabinetry, cathedral ceilings, custom tile shower, stone fireplace and a large family room/bar area for entertaining.
The home is owned by Jenny Marcell and Jeff Rindt.
“The students have been working diligently in order to be ready for the open house” Swenski said. “Come check out the great work of our students.”
Directions to the house are as follows: approximately 1 mile west of Iron River on U.S. 2. Turn left on M-73. Continue to Marinello Road and turn left. Proceed approximately one mile, then turn right onto Baumgartner Road. The house is 1 mile down the road on the right. Follow driveway up to the house.
