Pasternak benefit slated for Feb. 7
IRON RIVER—The John Pasternak Cancer Benefit will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the West Iron County Fire Hall, 641 Ninth Ave. in Iron River.
The event begins at 2 p.m. with a spaghetti feed schedule from 4-6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The meal includes spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread and a bar.
There will also be a bake sale and merchandise available for purchase. Items include a Green Bay Packer football signed by all players and coaching staff, an 8-inch by 10-inch signed picture of Detroit Red Wings star Niklas Kronwall, a load of wood and much more. The benefit is to help the Pasternak family with expenses, bills and for the cost of a new furnace.
