In oriental medicine, it is said that disease is the physiological expression of a disharmony of the energy system of the body.
Acupuncture and herbal formulas, along with Qigong and Tai Chi, are administered to rehabilitate the individual back to a state of balance and health. The essence of oriental medicine is “teach rather than treat.”
“Qigong and Tai Chi capture the essence of oriental medicine in a personal practice which includes all the necessary tools for self-healing,” said certified instructor Irina Tarbeeva, who teaches the classes through her Tai Chi for Health Studio.
“They are easy to learn, and they are medicine that is always with the person.
