The Miners State Bank in Iron River recently donated $4,160 to the Stambaugh Elementary School. Pictured, from left, are Nancy Johnson (branch manager of The Miners State Bank), student Lily Bubolz,
Jenna Helgren (Stambaugh Elementary School social worker), student Marissa Pifke and  Patti Anderson (Miners’ head teller). “As Iron County’s only hometown community bank, we strive to improve and strengthen our community,” Johnson said. “We do this through investing in education, sponsoring local events, lending to local businesses and participating in community affairs. We understand the local needs of the families, the organizations, and the businesses. That is what it means to be a hometown community bank.” (submitted photo)
