March for science on Earth Day, April 22

IRON RIVER—Earth Day is Saturday, April 22, and a march for science will help celebrate and bring attention to the day locally.
    The event will be held beginning at 9:45 a.m. Attendees will gather at the Klint Safford Memorial RV Park, located at 50 E. Genesee Street. The march will then proceed to the West Iron District Library for a celebration in the courtyard at 10 a.m. There will be music, information, speakers, activities and refreshments.
    Afterward, the movie “Death by Design: The Dirty Secret of our Digital Addiction” will be presented.
    This event is sponsored by the West Iron District Library and Rise UP Indivisible Iron County.
