IC Museum to hold first ‘History Happy Hour’
CASPIAN—Iron County Historical Museum will hold its first “History Happy Hour” featuring Bill Jamerson beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, at the museum.
Jamerson, an Ironwood based singer/storyteller, will present a program about the Civilian Conservation Corps. The program will be held outside Toti’s Tavern, weather permitting. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs. In the event of rain, the program will be moved inside.
The program includes storytelling, reading excerpts from Jamerson’s novel and singing original songs with guitar accompaniment.
“The afternoon will be as entertaining as it is important; as honest as it is fun,” said IC Museum CEO Glen Waarvik. “It is about people both ordinary and extraordinary, with stories of strength, wit and charm.”
