Heritage Days in Amasa May 27

AMASA— The Amasa Historical Society will hold its 22nd annual Heritage Days in Amasa on May 27.
This is also the grand opening of the museum for the summer. After the parade and celebration at the cemetery, a flag raising commemorating hometown veterans will be held at noon.
Take a tour of the museum and see what new items have been added over the winter. Raffle tickets will be available with the drawing on July 4.
“Native son Dennis Sandri, will be playing his accordion accompanied by his drummer,” said Helenrae Hord.
Also, James Jackson, author of books in which Amasa is a main character, will sign and sell books.
“Come in for food, BBQ, brats and hot dogs, bouncy house fun, friendship get-togethers and remembering Memorial Day in Amasa,” Hord said.
