Get creative for the Harvest & Haunt scarecrow contest

IRON RIVER—The Iron County Chamber of Commerce is calling all member businesses and friends to show support for the Harvest & Haunt Fall Festival by making a scarecrow to be featured in the decorations for the festival.
First-, second- and third-place winners will be displayed in the Chamber office throughout the fall season, and all scarecrow submissions will be included in a special feature in the October Chamber Connection newsletter and on the ICECA Facebook page after the event.
Scarecrows are to be brought to the Chamber by Friday, Sept. 29. The festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 3-10 p.m. in the Klint Safford Memorial RV Park.
“Use your imagination, promote your business and bring them to the Chamber ….” the Decoration Committee said. “Help make this a successful community event!”
