Forest Park announces kindergarten, GSRP registration
CRYSTAL FALLS—Registration for students entering kindergarten and the Great Start Readiness (GSRP) program during the 2015-2016 school year will be held Feb. 17-19.
Parents may come to the elementary office to register their child. Registration times are 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. On Wednesday, Feb. 18, extended registration hours from 3:30-5:30 p.m. will be offered.
To enroll in the GSRP (4-year-old program), children must be 4-years-old, and to enter kindergarten, children must be 5-years-old by Sept. 1, 2015.
Parents are required to bring the following items when registering their child: an official birth certificate and an immunization record.
Hearing and vision screening is also required for kindergarten entry. The Dickinson-Iron District Health Department will hold a hearing and vision screening clinic in the spring. An appointment for each child’s screening will be scheduled upon registration.
