IRON MOUNTAIN / IRON RIVER — With the recently passed CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act, First National Bank and Trust is available to help local area businesses get assistance and relief from this economic stimulus package.
Struggling small businesses may be eligible for a new Paycheck Protection Loan, which can help cover payroll costs, group health care benefits, employee salaries, interest on any mortgage obligation, rent, utilities, and any other debt obligations occurred before Feb. 15, 2020. There are also opportunities with the Emergency Economic Injury Grant and Economic Injury Disaster Loans, as well as the Small Business Debt Relief Program for businesses with SBA loans.
