Crystal Theatre plans Christmas Extravaganza

CRYSTAL FALLS—The Crystal Theatre is planning the second annual Christmas Extravaganza, set for Sunday, Dec. 14.
Adults, along with high school and middle school students who wish to participate, will sing “Away in a Manger” with the youth and will close the concert with Mendelssohn’s “Hallelujah Chorus.”
Practices will begin Monday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls. Call Marsha Wainio at 906-542-3858 if you would like to sing in the Iron County Chorus.
Youth choir directors who work with grade-school age children at school, church, or those who are home-schooled are encouraged to participate.  The youth will be singing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Away in a Manager” with the adult choir, and a third song to be determined by the music director at their school.
For further information and copies of the music, call Wilma Kallies at 906-875-3195. A dress rehearsal is planned for Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Crystal Theatre. Exact time is yet to be determined.
