CF District Library to offer temporary digital cards
CRYSTAL FALLS — Even though the Crystal Falls District Library’s doors are shut because of the COVID-19 pandemic, patrons can sign up for a free, temporary digital library card that gives them access to thousands of eBooks, digital audiobooks, magazines, movies, language learning tools and more.
The service is available for anyone who lives in the city of Crystal Falls, Crystal Falls Township, and Mansfield Township, who does not currently have a card. If you are a “blocked” member at the library due to fines, this service is also available for you to use.
To register, go to joomla.uproc.lib.mi.us/CrystalFalls/ and click on the register button. After you register, make sure to write down your new account number immediately. You will need that number, along with the PIN you create, to access the library’s digital resources.
“Once we are open and back to being fully operational, it is our hope that you come to visit us, and we will make you an actual card for our library,” said library director Evelyn Gathu.
These digital services are already available for everyone who has a Crystal Falls District Library card. You will need your card number and pin to access them. If you do not know this information, email the library at firstname.lastname@example.org, and the library write you back with your card number and pin.
