Alpha Museum to hold bake sale
ALPHA—The Alpha Museum will hold its annual Memorial Bake Sale on Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the historic Alpha Village Hall.
All proceeds support the museum’s mission to preserve Alpha and Mastodon Township area history, along with maintaining the museum’s First National Bank building, also listed on the National Historic Register and located on the traffic circle.
The museum, a Michigan 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, depends upon proceeds from the yearly bake sale, a Fourth of July raffle, and annual memberships, along with contributions to continue its mission.
“While out doing Memorial Weekend tasks, you’re invited to stop in for a treat for yourself or your family and help support a worthwhile cause,” said Sharon Eaton.
Donors are asked to bring their home-baked items to the hall from 8-8:30 a.m. Questions may be directed to 875-4313.
