Alpha bake sale scheduled for May 26
ALPHA—The Alpha Museum will hold its annual Memorial Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the Alpha Village Hall.
All proceeds will be used to support the museum’s mission to preserve Alpha and Mastodon Township area history, along with maintaining the museum’s First National Bank building, which is a National Historic Site on Alpha’s traffic circle.
The museum, which is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, depends on proceeds from the annual bake sale, a Fourth of July raffle and annual memberships to continue its mission.
“While out doing Memorial weekend tasks, you’re invited to stop in for a treat for yourself or your family and help support a worthwhile cause,” said Sharon Eaton.
Donors are asked to bring their home-baked items to the Village Hall between 8 and 8:30 a.m.
