‘Dueling Pianos’ to entertain at ICECA banquet on May 2
IRON RIVER—The Iron County Economic Chamber Alliance is hosting its inaugural Member Awards Banquet on May 2 at Young’s Golf-Recreation-Dining at 6 p.m. In addition to an awards ceremony recognizing local businesses and non-profits, the evening will feature entertainment from Spanky Entertainment’s Dueling Pianos from St. Louis.
“We are so encouraged by the increased collaboration, investment, innovative problem-solving and entrepreneurial spirit we’ve seen over the past several years in Iron County,” said Erika Lindwall, chamber director. “We put together this awards banquet with top-notch entertainment as a way to celebrate and show our gratitude to our dedicated local businesses and non-profits.”
Nominations were collected through March for the awards of Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Outstanding Customer Service, Community Service and Involvement, and a Legacy Award/Hall of Fame Inductee. All the nominees will be recognized at the event along with the winners for each award.
The Member Awards Banquet is open to the public, and anyone who supports local businesses or volunteers with local non-profits is welcome to purchase a ticket. The cost per ticket is $30 and includes a dinner buffet and entertainment from Dueling Pianos.
“This group not only plays musical favorites from A-Z, they also do comedy and take requests,” Lindwall said.
Tickets can be purchased at The Alliance office located at 50 E. Genesee St. in Iron River or over the phone via credit card by calling 265-3822.
