‘The Crossing’ to play free concert at Windsor

IRON RIVER—The Celtic band “The Crossing” will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. on March 9 at the Windsor Center.
This creative group has performed their unique brand of Celtic folk rock all over the United States, including in Iron River, where the band performed for the Harvest & Haunt Fall Festival in September.
A blend of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes with original compositions, The Crossing’s music draws listeners into both scenes of the misty shores of Ireland and the diverse streets of their hometown, Chicago.
“The Crossing brings a level of musical professionalism that you just don’t see everywhere, so to hear them play for free is an amazing opportunity,” said Seth Waters, pastor of Calvary Chapel in Iron River that is sponsoring the March concert. “We are so excited to offer this level of entertainment in our community.”
A love offering will be taken during the concert to help cover the cost of travel and lodging for the band. The band will also share its story and music at the Calvary Chapel regular service the following morning at 10:15 at the Windsor Center.
