Thanks for participation
To the editor:
This thank you goes to everyone in the community that participated in Operation Shoebox and generously provided mailing expenses and lovingly filled shoeboxes to be sent worldwide through Samaritan’s Purse for Operation Christmas Child and participate in this worthwhile ministry. Thank you also to Beef-A-Roo and Holiday Gas Station of Iron River for allowing canisters to collect for the mailing expenses of the shoeboxes. Thank you to WIKB for allowing me the time to talk about the shoebox project. First Presbyterian Church of Iron County was able to collect 235 boxes that were delivered to Iron Mountain and continued on their way to sharing God’s love and playing it forward to make 235 children very, very happy. This project was such an important ministry to Marilyn Budzak and your support has kept it moving forward in her honor.
