It was indeed an honor and a pleasure to coach Nick Baumgartner when he won his U.P. wrestling title in 2000. I’d like to remind the community that in addition to the wrestling crown, he was also an all-U.P. football player and a U.P. champion in the hurdles during that spring track season.
