ALMONT — Patricia “Patti” Annette Leinonen, 85, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Insignia of Newnan, Assisted Living and Memory Care in Newnan, Ga. A burial service will be held at Covington Township Cemetery in Covington on Tuesday, Aug. 15. It will start after first meeting at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Covington at 2 p.m.

James Donati

Iron River — James “Jimmer” D. Donati, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023, from 9 - 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Fosu to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Northwoods Animal Shelter. Condolences may be expressed to the family of James “Jimmer” D.
